What is your educational background?

First, I validated an IUP Bioengineering in analytics and food safety at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, then in 2004, I went to ISIPCA for the DESS IPCA Flavors in apprenticeship in the flavors applications laboratory at Firmenich in Paris.

What is your professional background after ISIPCA?

After my DESS at ISIPCA, I had the opportunity to work 10 additional months at Firmenich Paris and 10 months at the Dairy center of expertise in Geneva as Application Specialist. I finally joined the Parisian team in June 2007 as Application Technologist.

In April 2016, I was hired by Monarch Beverages Paris as project manager in beverages development for customers based in the MENA zone.

How did you get the idea for this project and how did you set it up?

When I arrived in the southwest of France in September 2019, I identified a need from local food companies who were looking for ad hoc R&D support to manage their development projects. This combined with my desire to share my knowledge with professionals and students, my idea of a structure was found. So I did a market study and attended several training courses at the CCI before creating my company in consulting and training.

What has been the greatest challenge you have overcome in your entrepreneurial adventure ? What barriers did you encounter and how did you overcome them?

Creating a company involves managing communication, prospection, accounting alone ... many parameters that we are not used to manage as an employee and that must be mastered very quickly for the good health of the business.

In addition, the Covid-19 crisis has completely upset my launch plan.

I had to reinvent myself during the crisis in order to offer services that meet the clients expectations during this period.

What were the key moments that contributed to the success of this project?

The launch of the Clin Solutions website and my network on LinkedIn have mainly contributed to developing the visibility and notoriety of my company. Thanks to that, I got in touch with companies and schools that today trust me.

What advice would you give to successfully manage the creation of a business?

It is important to believe in yourself and in your skills, to trust yourself, to be ready to readjust your offer if necessary, then to go for it without being discouraged and above all to have fun!
